2004-08-15 - 6:33 p.m. An Olympics DayWe enjoyed watching Iraq win their soccer game -- as much as I ever enjoy watching soccer on TV, that is. A bit of a respite from reading Nicholas D. Kristof's The Nuclear Shadow - "if a 10-kiloton terrorist nuclear weapon explodes...as many nuclear experts believe is likely in the next decade..." Somehow, it is reassuring to see young athletes from countries around the world display civility on the playing field. If you were to go back the last few days, you would notice that I've finally figured out (thanks to my dh, the computer guru) how to make the pictures smaller in Photo Port. I spent a good part of today not only resizing a few photos, but categorizing them for easier access. Much easier to work with now. Until tomorrow...
